Kentucky Field Office Director Christopher Taylor provided remarks to more than 150 attendees at the 9th Annual Kentucky Hispanic Heritage Summit. Representing HUD Secretary Julián Castro, he emphasized that HUD is the agency of opportunity including those with Hispanic heritage.

He provided information regarding the myriad of HUD resources and services available to Hispanics, including espanol.hud.gov.

"I was so pleased to be able to provide outreach to those who serve the Hispanic communities throughout the Commonwealth," said Christopher Taylor. "This is a growing population that needs to understand that they do indeed have the opportunity to succeed in this great nation."

This was the 9th summit that is organized annually by the Kentucky Commission on Human Rights during Hispanic Heritage Month. This event provides an opportunity to network with representatives from different organizations and individuals that work with and serve the Hispanic, refugee, and immigrant community of Kentucky.
