MISSOURI COMMISSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS OFFERS FREE FAIR HOUSING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION TRAINING

The Missouri Commission on Human Rights, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity, is conducting a free Fair Housing Design and
Construction Training Session on February 25, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at:

Truman State Office Building
301 W. High Street
Room 750
Jefferson City, Missouri

The training is ideal for developers, builders, code inspectors, architects, engineers, and others interested in developing multifamily apartment complex. The federal Fair Housing Act requires compliance with design and construction requirements, when designing and building multifamily housing complexes, to ensure units are
accessible to people with disabilities.
