In Charlotte, Randolph Hills Residents Participate in COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic

Recently, the Randolph Hills multifamily housing complex in the City of Charlotte, NC, sponsored a COVID-19 vaccination popup. HUD Greensboro Field Office, Mecklenburg County Health Department, the property management partnered to provide the COVID-19 vaccination to interested residents.

"I am very appreciative of the Mecklenburg County Health Department and Randolph Hills property manager Kellie Hood for working with the Greensboro Field Office to make this popup clinic happen," stated HUD Greensboro Field Office Director, Roosevelt A. Grant. "It reinforces our commitment to supporting all communities in North Carolina to promote the wellbeing of the residents."

Randolph Hills, built in 1968, has 168 units and receives Section 8 project based rental assistance. Property Manager Hood is committed to supporting her community: doing everything possible "to facilitate the greater good, whatever that might be. I am doing everything that I can to make a difference and I look for ways to promote community wellness." Other efforts include to the residents and working with the City of Charlotte to promote broadband access in her community and seeking community partners to promote childcare development.
