Moneywise Empowerment Tour

On November 17, 2012, the Moneywise Empowerment Tour was in Omaha, NE. Field Office Director Earl Redrick served as a moderator on one of the organization's workshop panels. He also provided a brief overview of HUD's programs and initiatives.

The Moneywise Empowerment Tour is the national community outreach program of the Moneywise with Kevin Boston public television series. It is sponsored in part by companies like Bank of the West, government agencies and local non-profit organizations. The national traveling financial seminar is designed to provide financial information and resources you can use to manage your financial stress, reduce your debts, increase your savings, protect your home and start a business.

The program is typically presented at African American churches, and includes panel participation of both employees and local community service providers. Approximately 70 participants attended the one-day seminar.
