Civil Rights Conference

HUD Employees Attend/Present at the Lincoln Civil Rights Conference.

On April 29, 2015, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) employess from the Kansas City (KC) Regional and Omaha Field Office participated in the 12th Annual Nebraska Equal Opportunity Commission's (NEOC) Civil Rights conference.

The conference was held on April 1, 2014 at the Cornhusker Hotel and Conference Center in Lincoln, Nebraska and was attended by 187 participants. Attendees came from across the state to hear and train on the most recent civil rights issues in employment and housing.

HUD employees Alfonso Eason and Field Office Director Earl Redrick presented and particpated as a panelist. Region VII's FHEO Director, Betty Bottiger, and the entire Omaha Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity staff attended the event.
