Project Homeless Connect - Omaha

On Friday, March 31, 2017, Omaha Field Office's Andrew Burgin-Anton exhibited at the Project Homeless Connect (PHC)-Omaha event at Creighton University's Kiewit Fitness Center. The annual event hosted 558 local homeless and at-risk individuals with 55 exhibitors present to offer local resources.

Attendees were guided by 909 volunteers participating in the event. There were 43 separate social service providers, offering an array of programs and services from housing, health screenings, haircuts, food sources, transit vouchers and clothing.

This is the 10th year of PHC Omaha, and over those ten years 3,000 plus persons of the area's homeless have been connected to much needed services. More than 3,500 volunteers have participated during the same period, and the event continues to grow and expand each year.
