On October 28, 2009, the Jersey City Housing Authority and City officials broke ground for the construction of a mixed-income family development. Glennview Townhouses, named in honor of the late Jersey City Mayor Glenn Cunningham, will consist of 63 units. Glennview is phase four of the onsite revitalization of the site known as Lafayette Gardens.

Jersey City's HOPE VI grant, as well as state, federal and local funds will finance construction of Glennview Townhouses. Visit HUD's website to learn more about the HOPE VI Revitalization Program.
