Secretary Ron Sims presents $18.4 million HOPE VI Grant to Paterson Housing Authority

On Monday, May 23, 2011 Deputy Secretary Ron Sims awarded an $18.4 million HOPE VI grant to the Paterson Housing Authority for the revitalization of the Alexander Hamilton Houses in Paterson, NJ. The new development will consist of 271 units including townhouse rental and low-income homeownership units, and 70 rental units for seniors. The grant is part of the $153 million awarded to eight public housing agencies in HUD's nationwide HOPE VI Revitalization Program which transforms severely distressed public housing developments into sustainable mixed-income communities.
