At Brand New Day's Gala celebrating 26 Years of Community Service, Newark Field Office Director Diane J. Johnson was presented with the Rev. Joseph H. Garlic Humanitarian of the Year Award for her long term commitment to its primary cause, the City of Elizabeth. Brand New Day a HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agency is also a YouthBuild agency and partner in the development of affordable housing and single family homes in Elizabeth, Irvington, and East Orange.
