On September 29, Newark Senior Management Analyst Carleton Lewis and Equal Opportunity Specialist Marilyn Boddy participated in a Veterans Fair sponsored by Congressman William Pascrell. Held in the Haledon Boys and Girls Club Gymnasium the event provided veterans with informational updates on the government's programs to assist long term veterans and veterans who have recently transitioned to civilian life. HUD staff provided information on fair housing, HUD-VASH, affordable housing and other HUD programs. Also participating were Mayor Domenick Stampone, Haledon, Passaic County Freeholders, representatives of the U.S. Veterans Affairs and other public and private veterans service organizations.

Both Congressman Pascrell and Retired LTC Joe Bucco spoke about the country's commitment to our Veterans.
