Partner Together to Encourage Homeownership
and Business Ownership

On Wednesday, September 11, 2002, the Las Vegas HUD Office and U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to work together to help encourage homeownership and business ownership.

The Las Vegas HUD Office and SBA plan to go to Las Vegas area schools within Enterprise Zones to promote the idea of owning homes and businesses to middle school and high school students. Workshops will be conducted in the schools. The workshops are being sponsored by Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) and Nevada State Bank.
