HUD Secretary Visits Las Vegas

Shaun Donovan met with local staff and community officials.

Secretary Shaun Donovan was in Las Vegas on May 3 to meet with community officials and the Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto. Later he met with the editorial board of the Las Vegas Sun. He spoke about the landmark housing mortgage settlement and its real benefits to distressed homeowners. Donovan described the settlement as another step in repairing the country's housing market. He said new legislation on its way to Congress later this year would further help homeowners.

This photograph shows Secretary Donovan who joined Regional Administrator Ophelia Basgal, the Las Vegas Field Office Director Ken LoBene and his office staff for a group photo.
