New Home!

Habitat for Humanity, Lowe's and Jimmie Johnson build home at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The framed 4 bedroom home will be transferred to Henderson. Habitat for Humanity is partnering with the City of Henderson to improve Henderson's Pittman region with the construction of 6 single family homes. This will bring Habitat's new construction total to 25.

While attending the NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing) race in Las Vegas, Mimi Woodruff, Management Analyst, Las Vegas Field Office and Brenda Payette, Project Manager, Seattle Washington Multifamily HUB stopped by the Habitat for Humanity Home Build.

The HUD employees chatted with Habitat for Humanity Staff, Lowe's volunteers and Jimmie Johnson's pit crew. They signed the boards that will go into the actual home and watched Jimmie Johnson present the keys to the new family.
