Kenneth Little Hawk

Kenneth Little Hawk speaking before New York Regional Employees

An overflow crowd of New York Regional employees listened intently to Kenneth Little Hawk, a descendant of the Mi'kmaq and Mohawk tribes, talk about his heritage, his family, and the importance of the earth and nature in growing up. Mr. Hawk also shared with HUD employees stories, flute music, and dance as part of his ancient culture. His lasting message to the employees: "We are free to make choices and must live in harmony with one another and with our environment." The event was hosted by the Regional Office's Special Emphasis Committee and AFGE Local 913.
