John Trasviña Speaks at NJ Fair Housing Workshop

Fair Housing Assistant Secretary John Trasviña travelled to Newark, New Jersey to deliver keynote remarks at the "Understanding Fair Housing Today" conference hosted by Seton Hall School of Law and the New Jersey State Division on Civil Rights. Assistant Secretary Trasviña was welcomed by HUD Region II Fair Housing Director Jay Golden and New Jersey Field Office Director Diane Johnson.

Trasviña spoke about the creation and history of fair housing, and reiterated the benefits and importance of continuing to making sure that there are equal housing opportunities for all Americans, regardless of the color of their skin, ethnicity, gender identity, and income level. The conference continued all day with panel discussions spearheaded by valuable HUD Region II staff.
