HUD Funds Senior Housing in Henrietta, NY

Buffalo Field Office Director Joan Spilman joined Congresswoman Louise M. Slaughter, Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks, President/CEO of Episcopal Senior Life Communities Loren J. Ranaletta, and other distinguished guests to celebrate the groundbreaking of Rockwood Center at Brentland Woods, a 40-unit development consisting of subsidized and mixed finance units for low-income seniors in Henrietta, New York. The 40-unit mixed finance project was financed through a $2.6 million capital advance from HUD's 202 Supportive Housing Program and New York State Low Income tax Credits. HUD will also provide ongoing rent subsidies for 20 units. The owner and sponsor are Episcopal Senior Life Communities.
