Federal probation officers in Puerto Rico attended a HUD briefing on housing and supportive services programs. The officers were interested in how to help their clientele match their varied needs and specific situations with a HUD program.

The briefing was part of a collaborative effort between federal agencies to end homelessness. The interaction between the HUD San Juan Field Office staff and the 40 members from the U.S. Probation Office enhanced the working relationships to achieve both agencies goals:
Contribute to the justice process and end homelessness.
