This summer, young residents from the Virgin Islands Housing Authority Walter I. M. Hodge Pavilion and the Aureo Diaz Heights housing communities in St. Croix, ages five through eight, were Odd Squad Agents. The children participated in a camp hosted by WTJX television PBS KIDS Odd Squad: Be the Agent Summer Program. It was designed to support the development of early math skills with structured group activities, interactive content, games and crafts. They had the opportunity to step into the shoes of Odd Squad Agents and solve several odd cases.

NBA star Rakeem Christmas surprised the youngsters at Aureo Diaz Heights. Rakeem spoke to the children briefly about his career as an NBA player and answered a slew of questions from the Odd Squad campers.
