St. Stephens Apartments Receive Drug Elimination Grant

Children of St. Stephens Apartments come out to take part in the celebration!

St. Stephens Apartments in Dillon, South Carolina, celebrated receiving a $123,952 Drug Elimination Grant at the St. Stephens Resource Center on June 6, 2002. The check was presented to representatives of Edgewood Management Corporation by WilliamDudley Gregorie, Field Office Director.

Grant funds will be used for installation of physical improvements designed to deter and reduce crime in the complex and surrounding community. Installation of security cameras and a security fence around the property will encourage more agencies to offer programs to help eliminate drugs.

HUD representatives were William Dudley Gregorie, Field Office Director, and Multifamily Project Managers Harriette Bost and Sandra McKie. Edgewood Management Corporation Property Manager Ms. Betty Jo Bailey and on-site Manager Helen Goodson represented the owners of St. Stephens Apartments.
