P.A.S.T.O.R.S.

On Thursday, January 30, 2003, Dudley Gregorie and Mayor Riley of Charleston participated in a dedication ceremony for the new office building for the P.A.S.T.O.R.S. organization in Charleston. The building, which includes two affordable housing units, was purchase and renovated with the assistance of approximately $200,000 of Community Development Block Grant funds. P.A.S.T.O.R.S. is a nonprofit corporation formed by a group of Charleston ministers and is dedicated to developing affordable housing in neighborhoods which comprise the Charleston's Renewal Community (RC). The new office building for P.A.S.T.O.R.S. is located in the heart of the RC and will contribute to the overall revitalization of the area.
