Free Event for Veterans in Johnson City, TN!

"Services for Those Who Have Served" Veterans Event September 12, 2014, at Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church, Johnson City, Tennessee, beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Hosted by Congressman Roe, speakers and representatives from various federal and local agencies will be on hand to offer information on housing, employment and business opportunities.

We encourage veterans to attend this event to learn more about job and housing opportunities, and also mark their calendars now for Thursday, October 9, 2014, when the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development will be partnering with large discount retailer Dollar General for the third annual "Paychecks for Patriots" hiring fair, located in 10 locations across Tennessee. Local employers with immediate openings for veterans will be represented at that event.

"Services for Those Who Have Served" is a free event open to the public and will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Munsey Church, Christian Life Center, 201 East Market Street, Johnson City, TN.
