An allocation of funding has been approved to provide for the construction of an apartment building for the elderly consisting of 59 one-bedroom units and 1 two-bedroom manager's unit. Supportive services and activities in this senior housing project will include, but are not limited to, congregate meal programs, nutritional programs, personal and financial counseling, meal delivery programs, health screening and clinics, computer learning centers, transportation, home health/home chore services, recreation activities and educational type programs.
