Project description:

The funds will be used for the construction of an apartment complex for the elderly consisting of 5 one-bedroom units plus a community space. The project is being constructed in a rural part of the island which is experiencing a shortage of elderly housing. The project is within walking distance to medical facilities, places of worship and shopping.

Project description:

Project description:

The funds will be used for the acquisition and rehabilitation of an existing 9-bedroom home in an established neighborhood. This group home will be the first of its kind in the area and will house 8 residents with chronic mental illness and 1 resident manager. The home is in close proximity to medical facilities, places of worship, entertainment, shopping and public transportation.

The funds will be used for the acquisition and rehabilitation of an existing single family home in Kaneohe. This group home will house 5 residents with chronic mental illness and 1 resident manager. The home is within 1/2 mile of employment, shopping, schools, medical facilities, recreational facilities and public transportation. The Community Mental Health Center is approximately 1 1/2 miles away.
