The funds will be used for the new construction of 20 accessible, one-bedroom units plus community space for elderly persons. This project is one component of a residential retirement campus being developed by the Sponsor, Immanuel Health Systems. Residents will have the opportunity to take advantage of many services such as prepared meals, laundry, and housekeeping.

Project description:
Funds will be used for the new construction of a four-plex located in Lexington and a duplex in Holdrege. All six units will have two-bedrooms and will provide accessible, affordable housing for 10 to 12 persons with developmental disabilities. The Lexington site is located in an existing residential development and is one mile from the central business district. The Holdrege site is located in a desirable residential/commercial area that is experiencing positive growth.

The proposed project site is located adjacent to the community's downtown area where residents can access amenities, facilities, and services if needed.
