The funds will be used for the new construction of 39 one-bedroom units and one two-bedroom manager's unit to house the very low-income elderly. The development will have a Service Coordinator and community space and will be located within walking distance of a variety of businesses and services for the elderly. A paved, wheelchair-accessible, walkway to a local shopping center is nearby.

The community space will include a Neighborhood Network site where residents will be able to learn computer skills and access information via the World Wide Web. This development will be part of a comprehensive continuum of care campus for the elderly.

Project description:
The funds will be used for the new construction of a duplex with two-bedroom units and two single-family homes, each with two bedrooms. These units will provide housing for adults who are developmentally disabled. The project will be located in an established neighborhood. The sites are all on a bus route and all have clinics, churches, grocery stores, and recreations facilities within one mile.
