1999 PHDEP Program Project Summary -- Guam

GUAM HOUSING & URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY

AMOUNT FUNDED: $465,175

The Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority will establish security and prevention programs to reduce/eliminate drug-related criminal activity. PHDEP funds will be utilized to install perimeter fencing, conduct educational workshops on drug abuse, and enter into a partnership with the Police Department to provide training and technical assistance to residents to implement Neighborhood Watch Volunteer Tenant Patrol in public housing communities.
