They include physical improvements to the property as well as expanded drug treatment and prevention programs for Better Way tenants and their families.

SUMMARY: Flagler Village Apartments have developed a Drug Elimination Strategy designed to target the root cause of drug-related criminal activity plaguing Flagler residents and the surrounding West St. Augustine Neighborhood. The owners/management along with the residents have formed partnerships with the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, United Way and Americorp in an effort to eradicate drugs from Flagler. There points of attack begin with combined components: (1) physical improvements (lighting and gates); (2) drug prevention which include collaborative agreements with six (6) United Way Agencies and Americorp; and (3) a Service Coordinator.
