1999 Multifamily Housing Drug Elimination Grants

SUMMARY: Bainbridge will use a comprehensive action plan to further reduce drug activity in conjunction with the NAADP. This will be accomplished through physical improvements as increased lighting, gated parking lot, closed circuit TV monitoring system, entry doors and gated fence. Funds will be used to supplement drug prevention and education programs, youth services, job preparedness training and computer classes through our neighborhood network center.

GRANT AMOUNT: $122,953

SUMMARY: Georgian Court Apts. will use a comprehensive action plan to reduce/eliminate drug activity and drug-related crime in our property. This will be accomplished through improvements such as supplemental, exterior lighting, gated parking lot, closed circuit TV monitoring system, emergency doors w/alarms and police programs and community policing efforts in the neighborhood. The development of this plan was completed through the combined efforts of residents, owners, managers and local law enforcement.
