1999 Multifamily Housing Drug Elimination Grants

SUMMARY: The grant funds will be used to establish drug intervention and prevention programs. Programs will be established in partnership with Greenwood County Drug and Alcohol Commission, Teen Choice 2000, The Greenwood YMCA, The Greenwood Department of Social Services, The City of Greenwood Police Department, and the Greenwood Sheriff's Department.

SUMMARY: A safe, healthy, nurturing, drug free environment is Oakview Village's goal. In partnership with HUD, the County Solicitor's Office, Microsoft Corporation, the Eastside YMCA and others, Westminster Company will offer residents after school and summer programs, educational and employment programs, and security related improvements to the parking lot and grounds.
