1999 New Approach Drug Elimination Grants

Cedar Hills Apartments has been awarded $206,480.00 under the New Approach Anti-Drug Program and will partner with the Monticello Police Department and the Mayor's Office to provide a comprehensive, coordinated neighborhood approach to eliminate drugs and other crime problems in the Cedar Hill neighborhood. Cedar Hill will become a gated community with the installation of a fence and security gate system. The program also will support the police department by providing funding above baseline services for additional patrol and security in the neighborhood.
