Las Camelias Limited Partnership $190,160
San Juan, Puerto Rico

Las Camelias Apartments has been awarded $190,160.00 under the New Approach Anti-Drug Program and will partner with local authorities to provide a comprehensive, coordinated neighborhood approach to eliminate drugs and other crime problems in the Las Camelias neighborhood. The project is directed to reduce access to drugs and increase security for the residents of Las Camelias Apartments through physical improvements.


Office for the Liquidation of the Accounts of the CRUV $220,000
Carolina, Puerto Rico

Las Carolinas Housing Development has been awarded $220,000.00 under the New Approach Anti-Drug Program and will partner with local law enforcement departments to provide a comprehensive, coordinated neighborhood approach to eliminate drugs and other crime problems in the neighborhood. The strategy will include physical improvements to enhance security and better the quality of life. A combined multiagency task force will investigate organizations that promote violent and drug related crime.


Puerto Rico Urban Renewal and Housing Corporation $220,000
Rio Grande, Puerto Rico

Finca Galeteo Development has been awarded $220,000.00 under the New Approach Anti-Drug Program and will partner with local authorities to provide a comprehensive, coordinated neighborhood approach to eliminate drugs and crime problems. A combined multiagency task force will investigate organizations that promote violent and drug-related crime in the neighborhood.


Torres de Carolina Housing Cooperative $205,000
Carolina, Puerto Rico

Torres de Carolina Housing Cooperative has been awarded $205,000.00 under the New Approach Anti-Drug Program and will partner with local authority to provide a comprehensive, coordinated, neighborhood approach to eliminate drugs and other crime problems in Torres de Carolina Housing Cooperative. The strategy was developed to provide physical improvements that enhance security and better the quality of life, and to augment the investigation of drug-related crimes in the neighborhood.
