Housing Authority of the City of Bremerton $51,622
Bremerton, Washington

The Housing Authority of the City of Bremerton has been awarded $51,622.00 under the New Approach Anti-Drug Program and will partner with local authorities to provide a comprehensive, coordinated, neighborhood approach to eliminate drugs and other crime problems in the Westpark neighborhood. The funds will be used for security lighting and replacing locks.


Housing Authority of the City of Tacoma $250,000
Tacoma, Washington

The Housing Authority of the City of Tacoma has been awarded $250,000.00 under the New Approach Anti-Drug Program and will partner with the local police department to provide a comprehensive, coordinated, neighborhood approach to eliminate drugs and other crime problem in and around its targeted housing developments. The Tacoma Hilltop Safe Neighborhood project components include augmented police foot/bike patrols, SET missions, and crime-free housing training and certification by the Tacoma Police Department. Grant funds will be used for augmented security and physical improvements to provide a comprehensive, coordinated neighborhood plan to eliminate drugs and other crime problems.


South East Effective Development $250,000
Seattle, Washington

South East Effective Development has been awarded $250,000.00 under the New Approach Anti-Drug Program and will partner with the local police authorities to provide a comprehensive, coordinated neighborhood approach to eliminate drugs and other crime problems in the Southeast Effective Development. The funds will be used to provide capital improvements and increase police patrols in and around the three assisted housing developments in Southeast Seattle.
