Chicago
Access Living of Metropolitan Chicago - selected to receive $125,000 to conduct training on fair housing laws and the Americans with Disabilities Act as they relate to persons with disabilities in the public and private sectors.
Chicago Lawyers' Committee For Civil Rights - selected to receive $286,053 to continue its work of receiving, documenting and investigating individual complaints of discrimination.
Wheaton
Hope Fair Housing Center - selected to receive $300,000 to continue the enforcement activities that won them a 1999 HUD Best Practice nomination.
Winnetka
Interfaith Housing Center of the Northern Suburbs - selected to receive $300,000 to conduct outreach and education targeted at victims of discrimination. This is a partnership grant with Latinos United and Comprehensive Advocacy.
