Youthbuild 1999 Grants: Project SummariesNorth Carolina
The University of North Carolina, Greensboro, NC, The University of North Carolina will be awarded $300,000 in Youthbuild resources to help fund a $692,520.86 Youthbuild project. Twenty youth trainees will be recruited to rehabilitate 1 single family home and to construct 2 single family homes; the 3 units will be sold to low income families. Over $200,000 in public and private resources have been leveraged in support of the project. The City of High Point and Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC) will be partners in the project.
