Boston Housing Authority --- $46,350

The agency has reported that it currently has 236 families participating in the Section 8 FSS program. This funding will allow the agency to hire an FSS Program Coordinator for a year to provide more comprehensive services to current FSS participants and to also offer benefits of the program to additional families. The FSS Program Coordinator's function is to help assure that program participants are linked to the supportive services they need to achieve self-sufficiency.

Tewksbury Housing Authority --- $16,200

The agency has reported that it currently has one family participating in the Section 8 FSS program but has a Plan for 25 families. The agency was previously in partnership with the Chelmsford Housing Authority for this program. This funding will allow the agency to hire an FSS Program Coordinator for a year. The FSS Program Coordinator's function is to help assure that program participants are linked to the supportive services they need to achieve self-sufficiency.

New Bedford Housing Authority --- $45,128

The agency has reported that it currently has 23 families participating in the Section 8 FSS program. This funding will allow the agency to hire an FSS Program Coordinator for a year. The FSS Program Coordinator's function is to help assure that program participants are linked to the supportive services they need to achieve self-sufficiency.
