Grand County Housing Authority --- $14,560

The Grand County Housing Authority has 25 families participating in the Section 8 FSS program. Funds are to used to fund an FSS Coordinator for 1 year. The person hired will interview participants to assess needs, goals and determine eligibility for public assistance program. Provide support to clients to assist them in becoming self sufficient. Monitor cases on an ongoing basis. Refers and connects participants to services. Acts as a client advocate. Interprets complex policies and regulations.

Carbon County Housing Authority --- $18,236

The Carbon County Housing Authority has 25 families participating in the Section 8 FSS program. Funds are to be used to fund a FSS Coordinator. The person hired will use public and private resources to provide supportive services to enable participating families to achieve economic independence and self-sufficiency.
