The Housing Authority of the County of Clark, Nevada has been awarded a $30,600 One-year Renewal Service Coordinator Grant. The Housing Authority will provide supportive services to elderly and disabled residents residing in public housing. The Housing Authority of the County of Clark, Nevada has designated one full-time staff Service Coordinator to serve all the senior/disabled clients living in the authority's public housing developments and scattered sites. Supplemental funding for the position has been secured through a $15,000 per year grant for Nevada State Division for Aging (DAS). The Coordinator will continue to expand proactive client referral services, that involve identifying and preventing problems and issues whenever possible.
Housing Authority of City of Las Vegas --- $228,377
The Housing Authority of the City of Las Vegas (LVHA) will be funded for a One-year Service Coordinator Renewal Grant in the amount of $228,377. The Housing Authority will continue to provide services for elderly and persons with disabilities. The grant will fund the continued employment of the Service Coordinator who will ensure that eligible residents can access the services necessary to enhance their quality of life and to avoid premature institutionalization.
