Milwaukee Housing Authority --- $108,533
The Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee will be funded for a One-year Service Coordinator Renewal Grant in the amount of $108,533. The Housing Authority will contract with S.E.T. Ministry, Inc., a community based non-profit organization, to hire Service Coordinators who will serve six high-rise public housing developments. These Service Coordinators will work with elderly residents and residents with disabilities, to link them to the supportive services that they need to continue living independently and aging in place.
Oshkosh & Winnebago Housing Authority --- $38,030
The Oshkosh & Winnebago County Housing Authorities received a $38,030 Service Coordinator Grant to provide funding for the cost of a Service Coordinator position, mileage reimbursement for personal vehicle use and office/miscellaneous supplies. The Service Coordinator will be an on-site staff person assigned to cover Mainview Apartments and Court Tower Complexes, and the scattered site family units. The Authority has a many programs/services in place and this grant will allow the PHA to expand the services and monitor case loads more closely.
