Statement from Secretary Marcia L. Fudge, Deputy Secretary Adrianne Todman on Veteran's Day

Today, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Marcia L. Fudge and Deputy Secretary Adrianne Todman released the following statement ahead of Veteran's Day:

"On Veteran's Day, we honor every American who has worn our nation's uniform, the loved ones who support them, and the heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country," said HUD Secretary Marcia L. Fudge. "As we mark this occasion, we renew our steadfast commitment to ensuring that every American Veteran has a safe and stable place to call home. As the first Chair of the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness under the Biden-Harris Administration, I've made ending homelessness among Veterans as a top priority and won't rest until we fulfill our commitment to caring for those who have so nobly served our country."

"We express our profound gratitude for the sacrifice of every veteran," said Deputy Secretary Adrianne Todman. "We're also proud to have more than 1,200 veterans among us as part of the HUD team. This Veteran's Day, let us all reflect on the sacrifice veterans, and their families, have made to serve their fellow citizens and protect our country."
