Statement from HUD Secretary Marcia L. Fudge on the Commemoration of 9/11WASHINGTON - Today, Marcia L. Fudge, the 18th Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) issued the following statement on the commemoration of the September 11th terrorist attacks: "Today marks the 22nd anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks, which led to nearly 3,000 deaths, thousands of injuries, and changed our nation forever. I pray those whose family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones perished that fateful day find comfort in our collective mourning and find strength in knowing our nation will never forget them.
