Statement from HUD Secretary Marcia L. Fudge on the Commemoration of 9/11

WASHINGTON - Today, Marcia L. Fudge, the 18th Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) issued the following statement on the commemoration of the September 11th terrorist attacks:

"Today marks the 22nd anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks, which led to nearly 3,000 deaths, thousands of injuries, and changed our nation forever.

I pray those whose family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones perished that fateful day find comfort in our collective mourning and find strength in knowing our nation will never forget them.

Today, and every day, let us honor their memory through our commitment to service and to the betterment of our community."
