plan is a requirement of the Government Performance Results Act, which is
meant to turn government agencies into results-oriented organizations.
As part of developing its strategic plan, HUD is looking for input from
stakeholders on where it should focus resources over the long-term and how
to measure successes in achieving its strategic goals. This consultation
will focus not only on HUDs long-term vision, but on performance reporting,
including: what measurements would indicate success in the Departments
mission and how performance measurement can facilitate program assessment
in light of HUDs strategic goals and objectives. This consultation
will include discussion of the Departments broad strategic goals and
objectives as well as the national indicators to be tracked from year to
year. |
